A few things predators will look for are:
- Kids that appear lonely or depressed.
- Kids with provocative screen names or screen names with words like sex,wild,young etc. in them.
- Kids with provocative photos on their Myspace site.
- Kids that have sites with lots of bad language or trashy sites.
- Kids that openly talk about sex.

TRENTON, N.J. — More than three dozen people in New Jersey have been charged with sending child rape photos and videos over the Internet, officials said Thursday.
The arrests cap a two-month investigation in which a state police technology investigations unit combed the Internet for New Jerseyans who distributed such images. Forty-one people were arrested.

NOT long ago, friends of mine confessed over dinner that they had put spyware on their 15-year-old son’s computer so they could monitor all he did online. At first I was repelled at this invasion of privacy. Now, after doing a fair amount of research, I get it. Full article....
