A Canon City mother offered herself and her 13-year-old daughter as a "package" for sex; or so the sexual predator thought as he chatted on the Internet earlier this year.
That predator, Lawrence Couturier, a 61-year-old Canadian citizen, fantasized online about impregnating both mother and daughter, according to court records.
He then put his plan into action. Armed with boxes of Cialis and a digital camera, Couturier flew from British Columbia to Denver International Airport, rented a car and drove south on Interstate 25 to Fremont County.

Travis Lane Bragg of Winter Haven was charged with two counts of sexual battery over the weekend, according to MyFOXTampaBay.com.
One of his alleged victims, a 19-year-old woman, told Polk County detectives she had befriended Bragg on MySpace.

Those involved in the investigation said simply locking your doors and keeping your children in the house is no longer enough to keep them safe from child predators.
Operation Valley Predator II took place from July 27, 2008 through August 22, 2008. Throughout the course of the investigation law enforcement served at least 19 state and federal search warrants and arrested 61 people on a variety of offenses, ranging from child pornography crimes to violating state-mandated sex offender registration rules.
